Jayanti is a first year Computer Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. When she is not reading a book, she is either trying out new recipes or going on hikes. Growing up, she has always been fascinated with the technology around her, from 3D printers to MRI scans. She fosters an innate curiosity about the cool things that we can do with programming and engineering. Combined with her passion for STEM and helping others, she believes in engineering for humanity and that is why she joined PTC!
Director of External Affairs
Aadar Gupta is a University of Waterloo Computer Science and Business Administration Double Degree Student. In his free time, he is finding ways to be innovative, expand his skillset and network. He also enjoys playing cricket, writing songs and driving! His curiosity and passion for mathematics/computing is what has motivated him to continue his journey in STEM and his reason for joining PTC.
Kelly Zhu is a first year student at the University of Waterloo studying accounting and financial management. In her spare time, she likes to read, dance and bake. She is very excited to help organize PTC's Hackathon and introduce more high school students to the world of technology!
Emily is a grade 12 student in Ottawa. She enjoys visual arts and programming in her free time and hopes to study finance or computer science in the future. She first stumbled upon computer science accidentally in her second year of high school, when her guidance counsellor placed her in a coding course instead of the graphic design class she had chosen. She found the topic interesting enough on the first day to not drop it immediately and soon grew to love it. Ever since she's been expanding and applying her knowledge to a variety of clubs and initiatives, which led her to PTC.
Helen is a third year student at Western University who is currently studying Actuarial Science. She is extremely passionate about youth and women empowerment initiatives and is excited to help shape the first ever PTC Hackathon. In her free time, she can be found biking, watching Netflix, and attempting to play to guitar.
