The Education Committee focuses on post-secondary tech education across North America through our Youth In Tech Awards Program and our Education Guides!

Roles

EDITOR

As an editor for PTC’s university guides, applicants should expect to do lots of research into a variety of topics surrounding university applications, university life, and future planning for students. In addition, they will also be responsible for compiling information and writing them in PTC’s university guides to be released to students throughout the year.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing/editing skills

  • Interest in or actively pursuing a tech program at a North American post-secondary institution

Estimated Time Commitment: 

1 hour a week

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Coordinators are responsible for contacting potential sponsors and partners who may be interested in working with Project Tech Conferences with the YouthInTech Awards Program. Typically, this will look like cold emailing contacts and organizing meetings with representatives from companies or other organizations to discuss details of potential cooperation.

You will also be involved with organizing the awards ceremony at the end of the year.

  • Strong communication skills
